Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 09/01/2018

By purchasing an experience voucher with Experience Northumberland you enter an agreement with us and our suppliers.  Whilst we will always make every effort to accommodate individual problems where possible, please take time to read these Terms and Conditions before purchasing your voucher as the following rules are enforced by Experience Northumberland.

Availability

All vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase unless otherwise stated on the voucher.  No guarantee is made to availability on any particular day throughout this 12 month period.  Voucher holders should book as soon as possible if particular days are prefered.

Restrictions

Many activities that are sold on this site will have restrictions such as weight, physical fitness, age & health.  All driving vouchers require the voucher holder to have a full UK driving licence. All participants will need to be agile enough to use an activity or gain entry to a vehicle.  Restrictions will usually be clearly visible on each activity before purchase, but if in doubt please do ask.

voucher date & life

All vouchers are valid for 12 months - although some vouchers may only be available on particular dates throughout the year. It is the voucher holders responsibility to book their experience in reasonable time to ensure use of their voucher. Vouchers may be extended for 6 months on payment of a £20 administration fee in addition to any price increase since date of purchase.

Refunds

We reserve the right to make a full refund to any voucher purchaser for any of our activities.  Should an activity become unavailable vouchers may be exchanged or refunded to the purchaser. This will be the limit of our liability and we will not accept liability for external costs to the voucher holder.  No refunds are available on vouchers - but a voucher may be exchanged towards another activity.

Auster Introductory Flights

Introductory Flights carried out on the Auster will not include the chance to take control of the aircraft. Introductory flights are designed to allow flying organisations to introduce people to the sport and allow them to see what flying is about. Flights in the Auster are not training flights and will not count towards a pilots licence.

disclaimers

All voucher holders will be required to sign a disclaimer before starting any activity purchased.  These disclaimers will be designed to ensure you have understood safety briefs and have signed to say that you understand that all reasonable precaution has been taken to make the activity or activities safe.

Experience descriptions

We have made every effort to ensure our descriptions are accurate to the vouchers provided. All photographs and videos on this website show footage of the vehicles used and are not stock images. In the extremely unlikely event that a voucher holder has not recieved the experience that they paid for, the voucher holder will be entitled to a refund - this will be the limit of any claim.

cancellation

Some vouchers are extremely weather dependant and many rely on the use of complicated machinery.  Any voucher may be cancelled at any time at the discretion of the supplier of that activity.  The supplier will not be liable for any external costs incurred to the voucher holder.  There is always a possibility of short notice cancellations by the supplier beyond their control.

'no show' customers

If you have booked a voucher with a supplier and do not show up to your allocated time slot or are late you will be considered a "no show" and your voucher will be deemed used due to the costs incurred by the supplier for running the activity. 'No show' customers will not be entitled to a refund and no exchange or credit towards and activity will be given.  The supplier will be reasonable with lateness where possible.
